It's So Hot...
...the birds have to use potholders to pull the worms out of the ground.
...the chickens are laying hard-boiled eggs.
...cows are giving evaporated milk.
...you can make instant sun tea.
...hot water now comes out of both taps.
...you realize that asphalt has a liquid state.
...I saw a dog chasing a cat and they were both walking.
...trees are creeping around looking for shade.
...when and if it does rain, you can see the steam rising up off the pavement.
...the state bird is now fried chicken.

That a field of corn popped, the cows across the road though it was a snow storm and froze to death...
